We are ‘non residents’ of the area, selling our recently departed parents’ home. Everyone at Ross Nicholas has been kind and helpful to us, and we have always felt ‘relaxed’ in the knowledge that they were acting totally professionally and diligently on our behalf. The initial visit from Ross was thorough, clear, reassuring and honest. Marketing was extremely swift, and 5 days after that initial visit, we had a buyer! Everyone in their team has been helpful, and kept us in touch throughout the somewhat protracted (not their fault) sale process. Special mention must go to Justin who has cheerfully fielded my grumbles and rants, especially over the last couple of weeks, and has gone to great lengths to get the sale through. We were very lucky to have Harvey deal with our sale, always calm, supportive and friendly. Throughout the covid pandemic, he was very good with covid procedures and we felt safe. He had to deal with a very tricky chain and he worked extremely hard to keep it together in a professional way, always polite and responses by email were always quick and well written in great detail. Nothing was too much trouble for him. A great asset to the company.

After our mother died in the summer of last year, we put her lovely bungalow on the market, but were disappointed that the agent we chose was unable to sell it for us. In October 2021, we contacted Ross Nicholas and asked them to market it for us and I have to say, right from the start, their attitude towards our Mum’s property was quite different.  They were enthusiastic, proactive, helpful and understood how difficult it was for my sister and I to go through the sales process while still grieving the loss of our mother.

They kept us informed every step of the way, giving us feedback on viewings by telephone; they sorted out problems – we had a leak that needed fixing – by employing a local builder immediately to sort it out; they consulted us about potential offers and gave advice in a friendly, and very professional manner.
